Discrete seawater samples for methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) analyses were collected at Station ALOHA as part of the near-monthly Hawaii Ocean Time-series (HOT) cruises from December 2008 to November 2016. For the majority of this observational period, single samples were collected from eight depths (5, 25, 45, 75, 100, 125, 150, and 175 meters) with collection of replicate samples on discrete occasions and periodically extending the vertical profiles to a depth of 1000 meters.
